Report
Urban design of the free space left over after completion of underground stop is besed on the same principle of bocks cutting out nettwork of streets as surrounding part of the Old Town. So the area is completed with simple block too. The new block easily distinguishible as new building enhances the diversity of architecture with contemporary image. Existing streets with so far one front only are completed. Centre of the new block makes place for a quiet square, linked by arcades with all surrounding streets. Building along Spálená street is set back from the street line to provide for another square covered by far outstretching cantelivered roof of the house. Intersecting arcades on the ground floor serve as shopping mall, on upper floors are offices and flats on the top most floors.
