New reception building and residence for the embassador of the Czech Republic in Budapest is located in residential area off centre of Budapest. Circle of neighbourhood villas is reflected in elliptical volume of the residence. Official reception spaces on the ground floor are separated from private residence of the embassador on the first floor, each of which has its own garden. Elliptical volume of the house turns its narrower side to long access axis while asymetrical cut out provides for sheltered entrance both to reception hall and private flat of the embassador.
