Building completed in 1850 as a tenement house was in 1927 turned into an office block. Further changes took place in forties and seventies of 2Oth century. House is located in built up area of Prague 2 in zone of protection of Prague City Preservation. Existing building urban context, volumes and fronts of which were not changed was enlarged in the courtyard by one storey extension on the spot of the temporary shed. The extension is handeld as a little piece of contemporary architecture, which contrasts discernibly in its details, materials and colour with old building. Existing building is fully restored and addapted for new purpose. Ground floor houses entrance lobby, libray, exhibition room and meetig rooms, upper floors serves as offices. Multipurpose hall and small refreshment snackbar are in the basement.
